Your Hosts are Captain Thomas and Helen Schnare. We supply one “Galiano welcome basket”, all you need for your first breakfast - fresh baked bread, free range eggs, fruit selection, coffee, tea and preserves.
Terms and Conditions
- During peak summer season (July & August), Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals preferred.
- The summer weekly rate is based on double occupancy ($150 per extra person per week - children are less).
- Daily rentals during peak season are subject to availability.
- We take a 50% deposit at the time of booking, by Visa or Mastercard, with the balance paid on arrival.
- Minimum two nights stay - Long weekends & major Holiday periods minimum 3 nights stay.
- Smoking outside.
- Well-behaved pets are always welcome, for an additional charge of $20 per visit.

Cancellation Policy
- Peak Season: Weekly rentals require 8 weeks (56 days) advance notice to cancel.
- Off-peak Season: 2 weeks (14 days) advance notice required.
- Shoulder Season: June, September and all Long Weekends & major Holiday Periods require 4 weeks (28 days) advance notice to cancel (i.e. New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, etc)
- This means that you will lose your deposit (50% of the total rental amount) if you cancel after the Advance Notice timeframe. However, if I am able to rebook the Log House for your cancelled period, I will refund the deposit minus a $30 fee. All cancellations are subject to a $30 cancellation fee.
